About Us

Ballybrack Medical Centre is run by husband and wife team Dr. Toon Koon Chiam and Dr. Claire Feely who have many years of experience as general practitioners.

Dr. Toon Koon Chiam

Medical Council Number: 22192 

TK qualified in 1998 from RCSI. He completed a year in general medical training in the UK prior to working as a GP in Singapore. He returned to Ireland eighteen months later and completed rotations in psychiatry, paediatrics, general internal medicine and was Registrar in the Emergency Department at St Columcille’s Hospital for eighteen months. He went on to complete his General Practice training in the UK in 2007 and obtained membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners. He has a Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry and special interest in Men’s Health. He is on the Specialist Register of the Irish Medical Council and has worked in the Shankill area since 2008.

Dr. Claire Feely

LRCP & SI MB BCh BAO NUI MICGP, DCH, Dip. Women’s Health
Medical Council Number: 22209 
Claire qualified in 1998 from RCSI. Following her intern year she went directly into the Eastern Regional GP Training Program completing rotations in general medicine, psychiatry, paediatrics and obstetrics and gynaecology. She has Diplomas in Women’s Health and Child Health and obtained membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners. She has worked as a GP for more than 10 years in the Shankill and Ballybrack area and is also on the Specialist Register of the Irish Medical Council.

Julie Clarke

Medical Secretary
Julie has had extensive administration experience in a wide variety of sectors. She has both business and heathcare assistant training. She has recently left St Vincents and Beacon Hospital to join us to work in General Practice.

Sinead Ryan

Medical Secretary
Sinead has many years experience as an administrator in the sales and marketing sector as well as the medical sector.She worked in St Patrick’s Hospital for three years as an administrator in the outpatients department.
